Keepsake Upcycled Piano Woodcrafts We understand pianos often have huge sentimental value, and can be difficult —yet necessary— to let go. We've partnered with Young's Piano Shop in Vermont to offer keepsake woodcrafts made from your own piano. Check the box below if you would like more information.

After you submit the Moving Inquiry, you will get a confirmation, which includes a link to the Piano Storage Inquiry page (also linked at the top & bottom of this page). On that page, you will find the rates and full terms for storage.
We can also accept your piano delivery to our warehouse by appointment. If you do not need our moving services, use the links at the top & bottom of this page to access the Piano Storage page directly.

Starbird Piano Moving Terms

YOU MUST AGREE TO ALL TERMS If all parties involved cannot agree to the terms, we cannot offer our services. If terms are violated during the move, the movers have full discretion to postpone or cancel.
If we send a TENTATIVE MOVING DATE to the email you provided above, and you fail to respond within 3 days, that date may be given to someone else. *
We communicate primarily by email, and a date will likely be offered to you when we reply, Please check your email regularly, and ensure our messages do not go to your spam or junk mail. Consider adding [email protected] to your safe senders list.I agree on behalf of the person who checks the email address I provided for move coordination.
Before the movers arrive at the delivery address, the receiving party will know exactly WHERE the piano is supposed to go, and that space will be clear and ready for the piano to be placed. *
If the piano is coming to Starbird, you can agree on our behalf.I agree on behalf of the party receiving the piano.
All PETS will be completely under control or contained while the movers are working. *
We absolutely love pets. But they cannot be underfoot or causing any kind of distraction. They can endanger everything surrounding the piano-- including themselves, the movers, the piano, and your home.I agree on behalf of all parties involved.
The movers cannot alter their FOOTWEAR in any way. Disposable shoe covers are slippery and forbidden. *
We understand some people are concerned about their floors. Our movers will do everything they can to be careful and safe with your piano and the rest of your home, which includes wearing shoes with good traction.I agree on behalf of all parties involved.
All people present will be wearing MASKS which completely cover their mouths AND NOSE. They will observe social distancing of at least 6 feet at all times. They will be wearing masks BEFORE approaching the movers to start talking. *
We are a locally-owned small business, and our whole team has agreed to continue this requirement.I agree on behalf of all parties involved.
Payment will be DUE IN FULL before moving day. *
We accept payment over the phone with all major credit/debit cards, or by check received prior to the move date. If you are a no-show, the payment is forfeited, and you can reschedule.I agree on behalf of the Responsible Party specified above.
If you cancel or reschedule within 2 days of the move date, there will be a CANCELLATION FEE. *
The fee will be 50% of the total quoted moving cost. For moves offered at a discount (such as deliveries), the cancellation fee is 50% of the original pre-discount cost.I agree on behalf of the Responsible Party specified above.
If any person or pet VIOLATES our terms, or disregards direct instruction on-site, the movers may use their judgement to postpone or cancel the move. *
If any party violates our terms and we have to postpone or cancel, you may lose part or all of the payment, and you may or may not be allowed to reschedule, depending on the circumstances. If any party's actions cause the piano to be "stuck" with us for a significant amount of time, storage fees may apply until they can properly accommodate delivery.I agree on behalf of the Responsible Party specified above.
