Schafer & Sons is a lesser-known brand, but that doesn’t hold this piano back. It has a big sound that so many beginner-level grands struggle to achieve. It looks good, inside and out, and the action plays well–if slightly on the heavy side. This would be a great entry-point for someone who can appreciate the surprising character of this little piano.
