For the discerning pianist: the Mason & Hamlin Model A is widely regarded as the best piano ever built under 6′. This particular example was nearly fully rebuilt in the somewhat recent past, so don’t fear its 1930 birth-year. It has recently new Strings, Hammers, Shanks, Knuckles, Repetitions Damper Felts, etc. We don’t know for sure whether the soundboard has been replaced, but, if it hasn’t, it’s in incredible shape for its age. This piano has a few small imperfections in the finish, and a few minor action regulation adjustments we are working on.
